Description: VENTED SW20 XVRacing SIGNATURE HOOD!
Like all XVRacing products these will be super strong and light-weight 100% carbon fiber with infused epoxy resin!
Fits: 2nd Generation Toyota MR2, Chassis Code: SW20.
Features: More defined fender bumps for a more sporty look! Fully bolt-on using the factory hinges and latch! (steel threaded inserts and steel latch hook bonded into frame for a more durable product) * Like all composite hoods, pins are recommended for safety.*
Vent Options:
Ducted: Maintain a fully sealed frunk with this option! Only the front side of the vents will be have openings (similar to a border hood). the underside of the hood (frame) will have cutouts above the radiator which duct air to the vent openings.
Large vent: This option requires cutting the frunk firewall. Only the lower part of the vents will be cut out leaving a nice solid flange on the underside (frame) for your own ducting to seal to.
Giant vent: This option also requires cutting the frunk firewall. The front and bottom of the vents will be cut out to allow for the most airflow.
Optional Carbon Fiber Headlight Covers: Because they will be made with your hood, the weave will match perfectly!

Finish Options:
Primed Carbon- The top side is finished with an epoxy primer, ready to be painted or wrapped. They are still constructed with high quality carbon fiber. The underside (frame) is a dry carbon fiber finish.
Cosmetic Carbon- This option is the most popular, the top side has a high quality, high density 2×2 twill carbon fiber weave with a show quality high-depth/high gloss clear coat that is UV stable. The underside (frame) has a dry carbon fiber finish.
Custom colors and weaves – Custom Weaves/Colors – This option has the same high depth/high gloss show quality clear coat as the cosmetic option but with your choice of a custom carbon weave for the top side. We have a gallery uploaded on the site, but there are many more available. Since there are too many options to list, we will email you to discuss your choice after you place your order. The underside (frame) has a dry carbon fiber finish.
Other options: please inquire about other custom options such as no latch hooks, titanium latch hooks, etc.
